As we are learning the art of homesteading, we find the book The Backyard Homestead to be very practical and helpful.

We love the book Habits of a Child's Heart by Marty Garret and Valerie Hess
that talks about the spiritual disciplines and then gives practical
ideas on how parents can live out the disciplines with preschoolers,
elementary children, and teens.
We believe in serving both local and global neighbors.
